Council

Municipality of West Perth's Council consists of the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and nine Councilors representing Fullarton, Hibbert, Logan and Mitchell. Council, in its representative role, receives recommendations and makes decisions relating to municipal business, and enacts by-laws and policies that form the framework for the operation and management of the municipality.
The Procedural By-law governs the calling, place, and proceedings of Council and Committees of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Perth.

All meetings of Council are open to the public unless advertised as a Closed Meeting under Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act.
