Food Bank donations are welcome, but not required.

the remainder of the 2026 Season.

The West Perth Male and Female Athlete of the Year Award recognizes two athletes from
the Municipality of West Perth for exceptional achievements during a single season.
(September 4, 2025 - September 3, 2026)
Age: The nominee must be between the ages of 5 - 21 years during the nomination period
Residency: The nominee must have maintained residency in the Municipality of West Perth throughout the entire nomination period to be considered eligible for this award
Sport Organization: Nominee must be a member of a sport organization that is affiliated with a recognized Local, Regional, Provincial, National or International Sport Governing Body
Level of Competition: Assessment of the nominee’s participation in local, regional, provincial, national or international competitions
Standard of Achievement: Recognition of any awards, honours, or milestones achieved by the nominee within their sport
Performance Excellence: Achievements in competitions, such as championships, personal bests, or records set
Dedication and Commitment: The athlete’s commitment to training, attendance and work ethic.
Sportsmanship: Displaying fairness, respect for opponents, and a positive attitude, both on and off the field.
Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate teammates and peers.
Nominations for the 2025-2026 will be open September 1st - September 30th, 2026.
