The Municipality of West Perth has advisory committees and boards to support Mayor and Council. These groups work with Council to improve services and programs for the community.

County of Perth Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee |
The County of Perth has a Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) made up of people who live across the county. Under the law, the majority of AAC members must be people with a disability. Some of the activities of the Perth County AAC include:

Committee of Adjustment |

Environmental Services Committee |
The Environmental Services Committee advises and assists the Council with respect to all matters pertaining to drinking water systems, wastewater collection and treatment systems and solid waste management sites within the Municipality of West Perth. Fence Viewers Committee |
The Fence Viewers Committee is appointed by Council pursuant to the provisions of the Line Fences Act to deal with matters related to the arbitration process when neighbours cannot agree on the construction, reconstruction or maintenance of a Line Fence. |

The Council of the Municipality of West Perth is planning a Homecoming in 2024 to recognize the sesquicentennial (150 years) of the now ward of Mitchell and the 26th birthday and anniversary of the Municipality of West Perth.
