TAKE NOTICE a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment application has been received affecting the
property described above. The application was deemed complete on February 19, 2026 pursuant to
Section 34 (12) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, amended.
Purpose and Effect: The application to rezone the subject lands is proposing to amend the West
Perth Zoning By-law from Future Development Zone (FD) to the following zones to facilitate the proposed draft plan of subdivision:
• Rezone blocks 1 to 19 to Special
Residential Zone Three (R3-sp) to allow
for a minimum exterior side yard width of
3.5 m.
• Rezone blocks 20 to 21 to Special
Residential Zone Four Zone (R4-sp) to
allow for a minimum exterior side yard
width of 4.5 m, minimum interior side yard
width of 3.5 m and a minimum lot frontage
for an interior lot end unit of 10 m.
Public Delegations and Participation: We value your input. Any person may express their support,
opposition or comments to this application.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment.
How to Participate and/or Provide Feedback on the Application
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION or QUESTIONS relating to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment,
we encourage you to contact the Planner directly and information available upon request and will be
shared virtually where possible. If required, arrangements can be made to have a package prepared
and available for pick up at the Municipality of West Perth office.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in
support of or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. There are several ways to
participate in the public meeting and/or submit feedback on the application:

application, your name, contact information, and communications may become party of the
public record that will be available to the public, pursuant to the Planning Act and the Municipal
Freedom of Information and Protection and Privacy Act. - SPEAK TO THE COMMITTEE remotely by pre-registering with the Clerk by emailing
clerk@westperth.com . Upon receipt of your email, you will receive a reply with instructions for
obtaining your unique Zoom link in order to participate in the Public meeting. - ATTEND THE MEETING IN PERSON at the Municipality of West Perth Office (160 Wellington
Street, Mitchell, ON). Any members of the public who wish to speak to an application will be
given the opportunity to do so.
