Line 19 will be closed between Road 181 and Road 182 on Tuesday, August 11th  from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for culvert replacement and drainage work.

Emergency vehicle access only.

Please plan an alternate route and use caution near the work zone.

Water Service Interruption – Nelson Street, Kenton Street & Clayton Street Area- Monday, August 10th

Residents in the Nelson Street/Kenton Street/Clayton Street area will experience a planned water shut-off on Monday, August 10, between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience while this work is completed.

How to Prepare

  • Store drinking water in clean jugs ahead of time.

  • Fill bathtubs with water for manual toilet flushing.

  • Keep all taps closed during the shut-off to prevent leaks when pressure returns.

  • Avoid using appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers until service is restored.

New Concrete Games Installed in Community Spaces and Parks

West Perth Community Services has expanded local recreational opportunities by installing new outdoor concrete games in community parks and spaces. Residents can now enjoy chess and checkers at Centennial Park/Welcome Centre, along with outdoor cornhole and table tennis at the Keterson Park Tim Hortons Pavilion in Mitchell.

Equipment is available at Hutchy’s Food Booth during operating hours, and can also be borrowed free of charge from the West Perth Public Library with a valid library card. These new amenities offer accessible, low‑barrier ways for residents of all ages to participate in fun, outdoor activities throughout the community.
