The West Perth Male and Female Athlete of the Year Award recognizes two athletes from the Municipality of West Perth for exceptional achievements during a single season (September 4, 2024 - September 3, 2025).Nomination period is closed
| Award Eligibility |
| Age: The nominee must be between the ages of 5 - 21 years during the nomination period
Residency: The nominee must have maintained residency in the Municipality of West Perth throughout the entire nomination period to be considered eligible for this award Sport Organization: Nominee must be a member of a sport organization that is affiliated with a recognized Local, Regional, Provincial, National or International Sport Governing Body |
| Considered Criteria |

Level of Competition: Assessment of the nominee’s participation in local, regional, provincial, national or international competitions Standard of Achievement: Recognition of any awards, honours, or milestones achieved by the nominee within their sport Performance Excellence: Achievements in competitions, such as championships, personal bests, or records set Dedication and Commitment: The athlete’s commitment to training, attendance and work ethic. Sportsmanship: Displaying fairness, respect for opponents, and a positive attitude, both on and off the field. Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate teammates and peers. |
