Things to Do
LIONS PARK ANIMAL ZOOOur animal zoo is housed in the middle of Lions Park. Featuring
Fallow deer, a variety of birds and other animals. The animals'
appetites are always good, so bring along some bread and vegetables
as they enjoy being hand fed. However, be careful near our
donkey as he has been known to enthusiastically chew on the hand
as well as the oats! [BACK TO TOP]

Along the Thames River
Featuring a 3.5km trail along the north branch of the Thames River,
which was recently designated a "Heritage River". The trail
is ideal for bird watchers, hikers, pleasure walkers, and those
who enjoy exploring the out-of-doors. The trail system provides
a picturesque view of the Thames River valley, which is composed
of flood plains, woodlands, and wetlands. This provides not
only a scenic background but contains a meandering river and a range
of different landscapes. The trail runs along the east side
of the Thames River beginning at Francis Street and ending at the
future site of Ducks Unlimited Wetlands at the former lagoons.
