Staff involved in Land-use planning are responsible for offering expert advice to Council in developing policy and making decisions governing present and future land uses within West Perth. This includes developing and administering the Official Plan and Zoning By-law.
This function also processes and evaluates;
- Official Plan amendments,
- Zoning By-law amendments,
- Consent, Plans of Subdivision and Condominium applications,
- Minor Variance applications through the Committee of Adjustment,
- Site Plan agreements and Part-Lot Control exemption by-laws.
