This volunteer committee was established in 1998 to address environmental concerns. The committee advises Council in areas of responsible stewardship and environmental awareness. One of the projects of the committee has been to establish a depot for electronic waste at the landfill.
There are 5 sub-committees: Trail, Wetlands, Memorial Forest, Promotion and Forestry.

Trail: Maintenance and development of the West Perth Thames Nature Trail (over 10 km of trails)

Wetlands: Maintenance and development of the West Perth wetland area.

Memorial Forest: Maintenance and development of the West Perth Memorial Forest.

Promotion: Publicity and Promotion of related committee events and issues.

Forestry: Maintenance and public awareness of trees in our community.
