One of the General Requirements under the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (ON Reg. 191/11) is that, as a large designated public sector organization, the County of Perth and its Member Municipalities are responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining a multi-year accessibility plan in consultation with the Perth County Accessibility Advisory Committee. The multi-year plan outlines the organizations’ strategies to prevent and remove barriers to accessibility. An annual status report on the progress of measures taken in the multi-year plan will be produced. Furthermore, the multi-year plan will be reviewed and updated at least once every five years. The multi-year plan and the annual status updates will be posted on the County of Perth and Member Municipalities websites.
