West Perth boasts a large park area for its size in Canada.  The majority of this scenic green land lies along the beautiful Thames River.  There are more than 55 acres of groomed parkland with annuals and perennials.  Mature trees provide lunchtime shade for picnickers.

If an active lifestyle is more to your liking, you'll enjoy the variety of recreational facilities maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department.  West Perth supports many sports teams and athletic clubs.  Whether you are watching or competing, West Perth's teams provide hours of exciting fun.  West Perth's minor hockey league has produced several NHL stars, including Howie Morenz of the Montreal Canadiens and Dan Gloor of the Vancouver Canucks.

Pool Schedule, starting June 29, 2009

Private Lessons: Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri.: 4:00 pm -5:00 pm

Times will be adjusted mid-August for sunlight purposes.

The Pool Staff reserve the right to close the pool for open or family swim during inclement weather. The pool will be closed for swimming when thunder can be heard and will only open at the discretion of the pool staff when the storm has safely passed.

Lesson dates for 2009 (Session 1 may be delayed by 1 week if pool work is not ready)
